An infrastructure project has been implemented at Temporary Accommodation Center of the Migration Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A walking space has been arranged at Temporary Accommodation Center for persons without legal grounds in Georgia. Thus the accommodated persons will be able to spend certain period of time throughout the day in an open space and engage in physical activities.
In order to increase the availability of medical services, the number of medical staff in the center has also been increased and medical services will be available on round-the-clock regime.
These measures were taken in accordance with the recommendations of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and the Public Defender of Georgia.
